Lean Software Development via Scrum
Lean principles have been proven successful in manufacturing for decades through companies like Toyota and Dell and are quickly being incorporated into the software development industry. Reducing waste, focusing on the producers, amplifying learning, and whole system optimization are just some of the areas we will be exploring in this session.
This session will expose you to the 7 principles of Lean Software Development and how the Scrum Framework can be used as a tool to drive a lean organization. It incorporates a very powerful hands-on experience to drive home the concepts of waste identification, value flow and whole system optimization.
This session is appropriate for any software development role or technology. It will help expose some of the hidden inefficiencies in your organization and what you can do to address them.
