In the October 2009 issue of NFJS, The Magazine I presented a discussion on full-text search and the open source search library Lucene. Through the use of a real life case study (this author’s real life by the way) the true power and speed of Lucene was demonstrated. However, as I noted in the article, all is not the proverbial bed of roses with Lucene. I mentioned that the problems you will face with it are a topic for a future article in this magazine. Well, we have finally arrived at that future article and Hibernate Search.
