John Griffin

John Griffin has been in the software and computer industry in one form or another for a long time. How long? He remembers writing his first FORTRAN IV program in a magic bus on his way home from Woodstock. Currently, he is a senior software engineer for Overstock.com. He is a member of the ACM and a technical reviewer for both the ACM and Manning Publishers. John is the author of XML and SQL Server 2000 (New Riders Press) and co-author of Hibernate Search in Action (Manning Publishing). He resides in Layton, Utah with wife Judy and Australian Shepherds Clancy and Molly.
