jQuery PeriodicalUpdater Updates

A couple updates to the jQuery PeriodicalUpdater (original post): the $400 update and a much simpler Updater API.

Thanks to GitHub, I was able to quickly apply the patches by people who forked the project. There’s some awesome magic over there.
